FEMTA LWS-2000S

About LWS-2000S

This system stands out for its high welding depth and quality thanks to a laser source operating in quasi-continuous wave (QCW) mode. The equipment runs on a single-phase 230 V AC supply and is ideal for working with highly reflective metals such as bronze, copper or aluminium, as well as standard steels up to 5 mm thick. The laser source is cooled with distilled water or glycol, which makes it suitable for work in dustier environments. The equipment is designed for standardised welding of individual battery cells and battery packs.

Recommended application areas: battery welding.

Advantages of this model

  • Suitable for reflective surfaces – bronze, copper, aluminium.
  • Narrow weld seam and high penetration – a laser source operating in quasi-continuous wave mode achieves greater welding depth than continuous wave or modulated continuous wave laser sources.
