FEMTA LWS-6000H

About LWS-6000H

This system stands out for its high welding depth and quality thanks to a laser source operating in quasi-continuous wave (QCW) mode. The equipment runs on a single-phase 230 V AC supply and is ideal for working with highly reflective metals such as bronze, copper or aluminium, as well as standard steels up to 5 mm thick. The laser source is cooled with distilled water or glycol, which makes it suitable for work in dustier environments. The equipment is designed for manual welding.

Recommended application areas: welding of highly reflective metals such as bronze, copper and aluminium, as well as applications requiring high weld penetration with a narrow weld seam and minimal heating of the surrounding surface.

Advantages of this model

  • Suitable for reflective surfaces – bronze, copper, aluminium.
  • Narrow weld seam and high penetration – a laser source operating in quasi-continuous wave mode achieves greater welding depth than continuous wave or modulated continuous wave laser sources.
  • Wide choice of scanning parameters – the equipment can weld in sinusoidal, linear or spot welding mode.
